I squeeze my eyes tighter when I feel that chilly breath crawl across the back of my neck. Trying to ignore it, I pull my blankets up over my head and begin counting, each number I say coming out shakier than the last.

I fall asleep with red scratches across my neck from trying to get rid of that horribly familiar sensation that I’m not alone.
