Okay, for those of you who have finished the second, here’s a little teaser from the third book, just for fun.

 

Miles:

“Since I arrived here, you have acted as if I am some burden to you. Have you once thought of how I feel? Has it occurred to you how hard all this is for me? I saw a picture of us together, and I hear stories that tell me I loved you. I hate that I do not remember. I hate that you have memories of us and I do not. And I hate that you love me, because it is not me you love. It is the ghost of me that once was. I know it is hard for you to see me and be with me because of your feelings. But have you thought about me? About how hard it is for me to know you love me, actually watch you show it, and want to feel it for you? And not just a love from a man to a woman. I want to love you how Miles loved Grace. But I do not know how, because I am not that Miles, and I do not know that Grace.”
