I got the final cover for HOME today. Isn’t it pretty??

I’ve been so focused on getting this cover done, I’ve neglected what the cover is covering. Since I’ve been working on the book today, here’s a little teaser for you:

In a flash, fury drowns out the amusement in Chris’ eyes. “Miles doesn’t love you, Grace!” He throws a branch against the tree, and I flinch when splinters go flying. “You’ve told him that he did once, but he’s different now, and so are you. You aren’t the same girl that landed in that clearing at Christmas. You’ve hardened, and there’s nothing innocent about you anymore. The attributes that made him fall in love with you before are gone. He may start to remember, but the more he remembers you, the more he’s going to see that you aren’t what he thought you were. He’s going to remember, and he’s not going to want you. You’re searching for a happily ever after, but your happily ever after died once upon another time.”

Chris is a big meanie. Grace is tired. And Miles is grumpy. They’re all trying to find their way home, but they keep getting in each other’s way. And it’s been fun/frustrating/sad/ugly crying/insert-every-emotion-here to write this story to its end.

**Confession: I have the entire book written…except the last few pages. I know how I want to end it, have it outlined and the dialogue written up, but for some reason I can’t let it go (oh gosh, cue Frozen song here).
